De 12h \u00e0 13h nous avons visit\u00e9 le Shakespeare’s Globe \u00e0 Londres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ce th\u00e9\u00e2tre est une reconstruction du c\u00e9l\u00e8bre th\u00e9\u00e2tre de William Shakespeare, l\u2019un des plus grands auteurs anglais. D\u00e8s l\u2019entr\u00e9e, le style ancien donne l\u2019impression de revenir \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque de Shakespeare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pendant la visite, un guide nous a fait d\u00e9couvrir les diff\u00e9rentes parties du th\u00e9\u00e2tre tout en nous racontant l\u2019histoire du Globe. Ses explications \u00e9taient tr\u00e8s int\u00e9ressantes, car il parlait de la mani\u00e8re dont les pi\u00e8ces \u00e9taient jou\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque, sans micro ni \u00e9clairages modernes. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 lui, j\u2019ai appris que le th\u00e9\u00e2tre occupait une place tr\u00e8s importante dans la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 anglaise du XVI\u1d49 si\u00e8cle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le guide nous a aussi expliqu\u00e9 l\u2019organisation des spectateurs selon leur classe sociale. Les personnes les plus pauvres regardaient les pi\u00e8ces dans la fosse, juste devant la sc\u00e8ne. On les appelait les \u201cPenny-stinkards\u201d. Ils payaient seulement un penny et restaient debout pendant toute la repr\u00e9sentation. Les spectateurs plus ais\u00e9s s\u2019installaient dans les galeries situ\u00e9es aux \u00e9tages. Ils payaient trois pennies pour avoir une place assise et plus confortable. Les nobles, eux, payaient 6 pennies afin d\u2019obtenir les meilleures places du th\u00e9\u00e2tre. Aujourd\u2019hui, une place debout co\u00fbte environ 5 pounds, soit \u00e0 peu pr\u00e8s 6 euros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il y avait des acteurs qui \u00e9taient en train de s\u2019\u00e9chauffer sur sc\u00e8ne pendant notre visite. On pouvait les voir r\u00e9p\u00e9ter leurs gestes et travailler leur voix avant la repr\u00e9sentation. Cela rendait l\u2019exp\u00e9rience encore plus immersive et donnait vraiment l\u2019impression que le th\u00e9\u00e2tre \u00e9tait toujours vivant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From noon to 1 p.m., we visited Shakespeare’s Globe in London.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This theater is a reconstruction of the famous theater of William Shakespeare, one of the greatest English playwrights. From the moment you enter, the old-fashioned style gives the impression of stepping back into Shakespeare’s time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the tour, a guide showed us the different parts of the theater while telling us the history of the Globe. His explanations were very interesting, as he talked about how plays were performed at the time, without microphones or modern lighting. Thanks to him, I learned that the theater held a very important place in 16th-century English society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The guide also explained how the audience was seated according to their social class. The poorest people watched the plays in the pit, right in front of the stage. They were called \u00ab\u00a0penny-stinkards.\u00a0\u00bb They paid only one penny and remained standing for the entire performance. Wealthier spectators sat in the galleries located on the upper levels. They paid three pennies for a more comfortable seat. Nobles, on the other hand, paid six pennies for the best seats in the theater. Today, a standing ticket costs around 5 pounds, or roughly 6 euros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There were actors warming up on stage during our visit. We could see them rehearsing their gestures and working on their voices before the performance. This made the experience even more immersive and truly gave the impression that the theater was still alive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
