<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aujourd\u2019hui, nous avons visit\u00e9 le coll\u00e8ge de Midhurst Rother ! Nous avons tous eu notre propre emploi du temps pour la matin\u00e9e et avons \u00e9t\u00e9 m\u00e9lang\u00e9s avec les \u00e9l\u00e8ves du coll\u00e8ge. Nous avons tous suivi nos correspondants dans leurs cours: certains eu on fran\u00e7ais, maths, g\u00e9ographie d\u2019autres sports, th\u00e9\u00e2tre ou encore sciences et parfois, nous avons m\u00eame pu participer aux cours. On a vu comment les Britanniques travaillent et comment fonctionne leur syst\u00e8me scolaire. A 13h nous avons eu une pause pendant laquelle nous avons mang\u00e9 avec les \u00e9l\u00e8ves britanniques, ce qui nous a permis de discuter avec eux et de mieux les conna\u00eetre. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ensuite l\u2019apr\u00e8s midi, nous avons d\u00e9couvert les ruines de Cowdray. On a rencontr\u00e9 Paul, un tr\u00e8s gentil monsieur ! Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 notre guide et nous a appris que ce n\u2019est pas un ch\u00e2teau mais un ancien manoir qui \u00e9tait au d\u00e9but construit plus loin que son emplacement actuel. Les ruines ont la plus ancienne et traditionnelle cuisine de tout le pays et aussi la plus grande fen\u00eatre de son \u00e9poque. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finalement nous avons eu un temps libre pour acheter des cadeaux et nous balader dans la ville.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thursday February 6th. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today we visited the Midhurst Rother College! Each of us had his or her own time-table for the morning. We mingled with the students of the college and some even took an active part in the lessons. We were able to see how they work and to get a better understanding of the British school system. More specifically, we attended 3 classes among which there were French, drama, Geography and P.E. classes. We were able to get acquainted with the British students in class and during a short break. Then at 1pm we ate with them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the afternoon, we discovered the Cowdray Ruins. We met the Nice Paul! He taught us that these weren’t actually the ruins of a castle but of an old manor house which was first built further away. Notably, the oldest traditional kitchen as well as the biggest window ever built are part of the site’s historical features. Finally we had a stroll to discover other emblematic places in Midhurst and enjoyed some free time to buy a few extra gifts.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
